Last year, the main source of water for Sillod, the Khelana Madhyam project, was completely dry due to water shortage. Mr. Sattar personally visited the site to find a solution to this daunting problem.
“This is work is not for money but to provide water to people facing drought. If everyone works honestly, we surely could find a better solution”, Mr. Sattar said when he visited the site.
Under the guidance of Mr. Sattar, digging was started to find some other source near the site. After a lot of efforts, an alternative water source was discovered. To complement the efforts taken by Mr. Sattar, CM of Maharashtra Mr Prithviraj Chavan visited the new site.
