Sillod has a cultural heritage. To boost the cultural activities, Mr Sattar has taken initiative since last 15 years. On his birthday every year, various cultural events take place in Sillod. From the play based on the family of great Shivaji ‘Raygadala Jevha Jag Yete’ to Kawwali programs, various events entertain people. To provide stage for artists in Sillod a state level tourism festival was arranged. Many artists from Sillod showcased their talent. No politician has worked this much to preserve cultural heritage as much as Mr Sattar has worked.
