Separate toilets for men and women
The fact that there were no public toilets for men and women was a massive inconvenience to the people of Sillod. Therefore, under a special scheme, the Sillod city council decided to build separate public toilets for men and women at different locations in the city.

The Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana is a truly life-saving scheme put into practice by the Congress Government. It was launched to improve medical access for Below Poverty Line and Above Poverty Line families. Distribution of dust-beans to citizens
Under the guidance of Mr. Sattar, the Sillod city council distributed 10,000 dustbins of 20 kg capacity each to its citizens. This was done to ensure hygiene and prevent people from throwing garbage on the newly developed roads.

Sillod received an overwhelmingly positive response from its citizens. Now, instead of littering roads, people throw their garbage in their dustbins. Garbage collection trucks daily collect the city’s garbage and drop it off a waste depot.

Hon. Rajendra Darda, Hon. Min. Abdul Sattar and Hon. Prabhakarrao Palodkar can be seen in the photo at the opening ceremony of the dustbin distribution drive in Sillod.
