Sillod is known as the capital of cotton ginning. The process of ginning is performed on a very large scale here. Till date, there have been numerous fire outbreaks in Sillod. In order to prevent further outbreaks, Mr. Sattar raised funding of Rs 80 lakhs to set up a training centre with relevant equipment in Sillod.
