Water in Sillod city is delivered by the Khelana Madhyam project, wherein 70 litres is made available per person. As the city is growing faster by the day, this supply is not sufficient.
Mr. Sattar raised this issue in the assembly and followed through on his plan to increase the water supply per person. His perseverance finally paid off, and he was able to reserve 4.457 million cubic meter of water from Khadakpurna dam.
Although Mr. Sattar has got this plan sanctioned till 2016, his foresight has ensured that it will work out for a longer period of time.
